I've got ten minutes for a short entry. I've been invigilating a SATS exam and it ended before 3:15, so I'm free for a few minutes. I'm in one of the computer labs. It's not being used by a class right now, but two teachers have passed through over the past few minutes and I feel a bit guilty, as if I'm hiding in here and I've been discovered. Oh well. It's my free time.

Should send out my happy birthdays: Dad and Melissa had there birthdays last week, little Emmie had hers as well, her second!! (Emmie is my niece). And my Mom turns the 5-0 today! The fam celebrated back in Kamloops this weekend, a party at my aunt Shelly's place... my brother and Natasha and Emmie drove in from Red Deer. From all reports it sounds like it was a really fun time. My mom's sisters were in particularly good form, dressing my mother in a granny outfit, complete with Dame Edna glasses and saggy boobs. Missing these things makes living abroad difficult at times... you want to be there for those once in a lifetime family landmarks, the special birthdays, the anniversaries, the retirement parties (shouldn't be any of those too soon, unless one of us comes into loads of money unexpectedly).

Damn. There's the bell. I should head back to my room, as students may come by for some SATS revision help. Will continue later. Ciao.
